Diocesan grads to enroll at military academies 2015

Nine graduating seniors from four Arlington diocesan high schools will attend military academies this fall.

Bishop O’Connell High School in Arlington has four students who will attend the U.S. Naval Academy in Annapolis, Md.: Julia Bailey, Michael Galvan, Michael Hurley and Colin Snyder.

Saint John Paul the Great Catholic High School in Dumfries will send three graduates to service academies. Alexander Hawley will attend the U.S. Coast Guard Academy in New London, Conn. Douglas Parker will attend the U.S. Military Academy at West Point in New York. Jacob Wahlin will go to the U.S. Merchant Marine Academy in Great Neck, N.Y.

Paul VI Catholic High School in Fairfax will send Theresa Neubig to the Naval Academy.

From Seton High School in Manassas, Andrew Bishop will attend the Naval Academy.
