The Notre Dame Dragons from Middleburg are currently
ranked first in the entire Washington area in boys basketball.
The O'Connell Knights and the Paul VI Panthers are ranked 16th and 20th
respectively by the Washington Post.
The Dragons are coached by Larry Cullinane (third season). NDA recently shocked the
high school basketball world with a 67-65 road victory over Montrose Christian. The

the first time in history that one of the five Catholic school boys basketball teams
has achieved this feat.

"Beltway League."
