The Most Reverend Paul S. Loverde, Bishop of the Diocese of Arlington, has announced the following clergy appointments effective on Monday, November 24, 2003, unless otherwise noted:

Reverend Robert E. Avella, from Director of Vocations to Rector of the Cathedral of Saint Thomas More in Arlington, while continuing as Bishop’s Delegate for Clergy.

Reverend Dominic P. Irace, from Rector of the Cathedral of Saint Thomas More in Arlington to Pastor of the Church of Saint Ambrose in Annandale.

Reverend Lee R. Roos, from residence at the Church of Saint Michael in Annandale to Administrator of the Church of Saint Agnes in Arlington.

Reverend Richard J. Ley, from Pastor of the Church of Saint Ambrose in Annandale to Auditor of the Tribunal in Arlington with residence at the Church of Saint Agnes in Arlington.

Reverend Geronimo A. Magat and Reverend Keith M. O’Hare have been reappointed to the office of the Auditor of the Diocesan Tribunal, in accord with the Code of Canon Law (Canon 1428) for a term of one year, effective November 7, 2003, while remaining Parochial Vicars.

Reverend James A. Tucker, has been appointed to the office of Advocate-Procurator of the Diocesan Tribunal, in accord with the Code of Canon Law (Canons 1481-1490) for a term of five years, effective November 7, 2003, while remaining a Parochial Vicar.

Reverend Matthew H. Zuberbueler, has been appointed to the office of Defender of the Bond, in accord with the Code of Canon Law (Canon 1435) for a term of five years, effective November 7, 2003, while remaining a Parochial Vicar.
