well as in the Dragon’s 10-0 quarterfinal win versus NorthCross on May 25.
"Both my curve and my fastball worked well today. This win means a lot to
the senior class and to the entire school. This is the first time that Notre
Dame Academy has won a baseball championship," said Snyder.
Senior pitcher/outfielder Carlos Rivera picked up the win in NDA's 3-2
semi-final win versus Brunswick Academy on May 27.
"We consistently had good pitching all throughout this three game
tournament. Offensively, we got some clutch hits today and we kept pecking
away. We're going to graduate six very good players (Artie Snyder, Jeremy
Thompson, Carlos Rivera, Mike Russo, Greg Daughenbaugh and Tres Wolfford).
We're going to need our younger kids to step up next season," said Lockhart.
