Special Diocesan Collection to Assist with Hurricane Relief

It will take residents in New Orleans, Biloxi and all along the Gulf Coast months to recover from the devastation caused by Hurricane Katrina. Many have lost their homes or are unable to return to the area due to flooding and electrical outages. Food, water and shelter are immediate needs.
Arlington Bishop Paul S. Loverde has asked that a special collection be taken up in all the parishes of the diocese the weekend of Sept. 17-18 to assist the hurricane relief effort.
