Arlington Bishop Paul S. Loverde publicly announced in May 2002 the start of an ambitious Capital Campaign "Rooted in Faith - Forward in Hope." It is the first campaign of this magnitude ever conducted in the 29-year history of the Arlington Diocese. The minimum campaign goal was $75 million.campaign logo As of March 30, 2006, more than $115 million had been pledged, with more than $65 million earmarked for major diocesan projects.
