On October 16 at 4:00pm, the Music in McLean Concert Series will be welcoming the Maryland State Boychoir and Artistic Director Stephen Holmes as they present a concert at Saint Luke Catholic Church.
The Maryland State Boychoir is comprised of approximately 150 choristers, ages 7 to 20, who represent a wide range of ethnic, socioeconomic, and religious backgrounds. Not only do choristers receive training in voice lessons and music theory, they also develop friendships with boys from varied backgrounds, build self-esteem and self-discipline through hard work and dedication, and develop a sense of community through their commitment to the organization. 95 of the boys will be at Saint Luke for this 90 minute festival of choral music.
Tickets are $20 for adults and $10 for youth (17 and under). You can purchase tickets on the Music in McLean website here: http://www.musicinmclean.org/purchase-tickets.html
