Arlington Bishop Paul S. Loverde celebrated Mass to welcome
seminarians and their families at St. Mary of Sorrows Church
in Fairfax Aug. 1. Following Mass, a picnic lunch was served,
hosted by the Serra Club and the Knights of Columbus.
In his homily (see page 8), Bishop Loverde asked the families
to pray for those studying for the priesthood. He reminded
the seminarians to always seek “only what is God’s will”
during their time of discernment.
