House of Mercy, a Catholic nonprofit dedicated to serving the poor and marginalized, is hosting “BBQ & Bales” Oct.15, at 8170 Flannery Court, Manassas, from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. The barbecue will celebrate the work of the House of Mercy and recognize its donors.
The House of Mercy provides a food pantry, thrift store, new school shoe program, donation center, and a learning center that teaches ESL, cooking and nutrition, money management and spiritual formation.
