Marian pilgrimage set for May 7

The Asian and Pacific Island Catholics Marian pilgrimage will
be held at the Basilica of the National Shrine of the
Immaculate Conception, 400 Michigan Ave., N.E., Washington,
May 7, from noon to 4 p.m. The annual pilgrimage is sponsored
by the Asian and Pacific Catholic Network in collaboration
with the U.S. Conference of Catholic Bishops’ Secretariat of
Cultural Diversity in the Church.

The day will begin with confessions at noon, followed by a
procession, call to prayer and rosary. Archbishop Bernardito
C. Auza, permanent observer of the Holy See to the United
Nations, will celebrate Mass at 2:30 p.m.
