Bishop O’Connell High School of Arlington defeated Bishop Ireton High School of Alexandria 26-21 Sept. 10. It was the first win of the season for the Knights, playing at home and led by quarterback Vince Pizzano and running back Keith Evans.

Wide receiver Bradley McGee chipped in with three catches for 47 yards and touchdown.

Ireton quarterback Chandler Wilder completed a touchdown pass to Sam Smith in the fourth quarter, but the Cardinals could not complete the comeback.
