Bishop O’Connell High School in Arlington named Colin Disch the new head football coach. Disch served as an assistant coach for the past three years, first coaching the offensive and defensive lines and then as defensive coordinator.
Disch replaces Del Smith who will become defensive coordinator for the Bridgewater College Eagles.
“Colin Disch has demonstrated that he is both a superb mentor for young men and an excellent football coach with the ability to develop each individual player,” said O’Connell Head of School Joseph Vorbach. “He has used his talents to support our Catholic mission, and we look forward to his continuing to do so as our head football coach.”
