St. Bernadette to host conversation on the Protestant Reformation

An evening of dialogue in honor of the 500th anniversary of the Protestant Reformation will be held at St. Bernadette Church, 7600 Old Keene Mill Rd., Springfield, Oct. 2 at 7:30 p.m.

Rev. John H. Armstrong, an Evangelical pastor, and Fr. Donald J. Rooney, pastor of St. Bernadette, will lead “A Civil Conversation on our Christian Differences: The Reformation at 500 years.”

The discussion will center on the real issues that started the 500-year-old Reformation, the differences among various Christian traditions and the hope for finding common ground in a world of division.
