St. Mary of Sorrows Church to award scholarships for Hispanic youths

St. Mary of Sorrows Church in Fairfax Station will award
scholarships as part of the 2016 Amigos en Cristo/Friends in
Christ scholarship program.

Committed to the advancement and education of youths, the
program will award scholarships of up to $1,000 each for
post-secondary education to Hispanics in the Arlington
Diocese. Factors considered in awarding the scholarships
include demonstrated leadership, active involvement in civic
and/or religious activities and academic performance.
