Pope Francis is scheduled to arrive at Joint Base Andrews at 4 p.m. Sept. 22, following his visit to Cuba.

Archbishop Carlo Maria Viganò, the Apostolic Nuncio to the United States, will board the plane to greet the Holy Father. President Barack Obama and Michelle Obama will welcome him to the United States. Arlington Bishop Paul S. Loverde, along with Archbishop Timothy P. Broglio of the Military Archdiocese, Cardinal Donald W. Wuerl of the Washington Archdiocese, USCCB president Archbishop Joseph E. Kurtz and others will greet him. The ceremony will broadcast live at the link below beginning at 4 p.m.
