Article on Mormons failed to clear up confusion
Re: “Mormons feel misunderstood” (1/19/12) I was hoping the article on Mormons being misunderstood might clear up some of the misunderstanding. But rather than cite authoritative sources on whether Mormons are Christians, the article referred to opinion polls of the general public, which only serves to perpetuate misunderstanding. So please answer the question that the Catholic News Service does not: Does the Catholic Church teach that Mormons are Christians?
