The Life is VERY Good evening of prayer included a Mass, confessions and eucharistic Adoration, as well as a keynote speaker and concert.

Approximately 1,300 young people from across the country gathered together at Bishop O’Connell High School in Arlington last night for the Life is VERY Good evening of prayer intended to prepare them spiritually for today’s March for Life in Washington, D.C.

The night’s events included a Mass celebrated by Father Jack Peterson, confessions and eucharistic adoration, a keynote address by Chris Stefanick, and musical performances by Catholic artists Josh Blakesley and Danielle Rose.

The event was one of two pro-life prayer services organized by the Arlington diocesan Respect Life and Youth Ministry offices. A similar event, which drew an estimated 3,500 young people, was held simultaneously at the Hylton Memorial Chapel in Woodbridge.
