Refugee students receive school supplies; a local teacher heads to Ghana; St. William of York School has multiple sets of twins, and one set of quadruplets enrolled; and more in our Back to School special section.
Nominate a charity
The staff of the Catholic Herald hears about worthy charities, fundraising efforts and clothing drives year-round, but especially at this time of year.
Our own parishes hold food drives or put up giving trees, our families bring home fliers about school collections, and our friends tells us about the latest Knights of Columbus project or benefit gala.
We’re asking you to help us choose a local charity.
Nominate a Charity for the staff of the Catholic Herald to adopt for the holidays. We are looking for a way to share our gifts, use our talents and give some publicity to a worthy charity. We’ll choose one from the nominees, work to help them achieve their holiday goals, and then feature the winning charity in the print edition and online, as well as on our social media sites.
