Four churches collected more than 6,000 coats for the homeless, refugees and immigrants, single mothers and anyone else in need in the region. The coat drive was organized by diocesan Catholic Charities.

On top of that, more than 100 winter items, such as hats, gloves and scarves, were donated through the campaign’s Amazon Wish List.

The four parishes that participated are Holy Spirit Church in Annandale, St. Michael Church in Annandale, Nativity Catholic Church in Burke and St. Mary of Sorrows Church in Fairfax.
