Organizers of the 2025 diocesan Catholic Charities ball intend to raise $1.6 million at the 43rd annual event Feb. 7, 2025, at the Ritz-Carlton in Tysons Corner.

They made the announcement to more than 150 supporters gathered Oct. 22 at St. Luke Church in McLean for a thank you and kickoff reception, joined by Bishop Michael F. Burbidge and Stephen Carattini, president and CEO of diocesan Catholic Charities.

The ball co-chairs are Jessica Bartlett, Julia Byrne and Alyssa Garcia.

The event raises funds for Catholic Charities ministries including food, rent, utility and car repair assistance; free medical and mental care; adoption and senior care; adult education; refugee resettlement; and providing the evening meal at Catholic Charities Christ House in Alexandria.
