The newly renovated Cathedral of St. Thomas More in Arlington won the award for Best Capital Improvement of Private Space from the NAIOP, the Commercial Real Estate Development Association headquartered in Herndon, Nov. 21.
Forrester Construction, the general contractor for the project, received the award. The architect for the project, O’Brien & Keane, was also recognized.
During the presentation, before and after photos of the cathedral façade and exterior were shown.
NAIOP presents various annual awards to companies, individuals and chapters who have demonstrated exemplary efforts, according to its website. The awards are based on nominations and peer selection.
