This Advent, the diocese will release a video series, in English and Spanish, to guide viewers in praying the “lectio divina,” a prayerful, meditative reading of Scripture.
The videos will be released weekly on Mondays throughout Advent, starting Dec. 2. They feature Father Jonathan Smith, parochial vicar of Our Lady of Hope Church in Potomac Falls, and Father Jesus Muñoz Ramírez, parochial vicar of the Cathedral of St. Thomas More in Arlington.
The videos are evergreen and viewers are encouraged to use them as a resource throughout the liturgical year.
