Emily Reid is the new principal of Linton Hall School in Bristow. A longtime educator and resident of Nokesville, Reid is no stranger to the Linton Hall School community or Catholic education.

She previously taught at Linton Hall for nearly 10 years and served as assistant principal at St. Bernadette School in West Springfield. Her experience spans preschool through eighth grade. She has a bachelor’s from Virginia Tech in Blacksburg and a master’s in curriculum and instruction from Western Governors University, an online school based in Utah.

“Linton Hall is a beautiful community steeped in faith and tradition,” Reid said. “I am so blessed to be returning and truly grateful for the opportunity to serve as principal.”

Reid replaced Adrianne Jewett, formerly head of school, who assumed the newly created role of president of the school July 1. Jewett will also serve as chief operating officer of the Benedictine Sisters of Virginia, succeeding Mary Finnigan, who will retire at the end of the year.
