The St. Paul VI Catholic High School girls’ volleyball team won the WCAC championship at The Catholic University of America in Washington Nov. 2.
Chantilly-based Paul VI defeated St. John’s College High School from Washington in three straight sets. This marks their first WCAC title since 2018.
“PVI was blessed to have some amazing athletes come out for volleyball this year,” said coach Mary Hays. “The team has great chemistry and truly acts like one big family. They encouraged each other and pushed each other to work harder and get better. Their success is a testament to their confidence in the team’s abilities as well as their own. It was an absolute privilege to watch them achieve everything they did this season.”
