National Child Abuse Prevention Month is an important reminder of our ongoing responsibility to remain vigilant in our sacred commitment to protect children and youth from all forms of abuse.
The Diocese of Arlington is dedicated to fostering a true culture of care, while accompanying and supporting victim-survivors throughout their lifelong journey of healing.
The Diocese of Arlington’s Office of Victim Assistance provides support, guidance and referrals for ongoing counseling to those who have experienced abuse. We remain fully committed to equipping our clergy, staff and volunteers with the training necessary to recognize and report any suspected abuse.
I invite all the faithful to partner with us to build a culture of care through our efforts and prayers to protect children from any form of abuse.
