More than 150 members of the University of Mary Washington community gathered for a Rise Against Hunger meal-packing event, assembling more than 30,000 meals for those in need April 9.

Students and student-athletes from a variety of campus organizations including the Catholic Campus Ministry took part in the effort, partnering with the international hunger relief organization Rise Against Hunger.

Organizers expressed gratitude for the strong participation and support.
