Aneel Aranha, a well-regarded Catholic evangelist from Dubai,
will conduct a full-day “Growth Retreat” April 14 at Tuscany
Hall, 21125 Kettle Club Rd., Culpeper, from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.
The retreat is intended to help Catholics grow in prayer,
faith and their relationships.
Aranha is the founder of Holy Spirit Interactive, a Catholic
lay apostolate dedicated to strengthening the faith of
Christians and spreading the word of God around the world.
He has written several books, including The School of the
Holy Spirit, The Armor of God and The Seven Deadly Sins.
Aranha has spoken at hundreds of parishes around the world,
including the United States, Australia, the United Kingdom
and Canada.
Last year, he hosted a discipleship program at Precious Blood
Church in Culpeper, which Father Leo Zonneveld, pastor, said
was “a wonderful experience that deeply touched the lives of
all who attended in their relationship with God.”
“Mr. Arranha’s personal life story and the power of Jesus and
the Gospel, so evident in his life, were an inspiration and
an invitation to a deeper commitment to our faith and a
desire to share that faith with others,” Father Zonneveld
said.
Pizza and soft drinks will be provided. Retreatants are asked
to give a goodwill offering.
