Dancing, music and palms ushered Jesus riding on a donkey in a
re-enactment of Palm Sunday at St. Anthony of Padua Church in Falls Church April
9.

Hundreds from the Hispanic community lifted palms, some folded
into intricate crosses, for a blessing of holy water at the beginning of the Spanish-language Mass. Father
Alan Ventura, parochial vicar of St. Anthony of Padua, celebrated the Mass. In his
homily, he said that Jesus’ resurrection reconciled man with God.
