Arlington Bishop Michael F. Burbidge is initiating diocesanwide Holy
Hours for Vocations at five churches.
The Holy Hours, which include exposition of the Blessed
Sacrament, a reflection on scripture by Bishop Burbidge, time for silent prayer
and Benediction, will be held at 7:30 p.m., followed by a light reception.
The locations include: Oct. 20 at St. John the Beloved Church,
6420 Linway Terrace in McLean; Nov. 3 at St. John the Baptist Church at the
corner of Main Street and Luray Avenue in Front Royal; April 13 at St. Timothy
Church, 13807 Poplar Tree Rd. in Chantilly; April 27 at St. Mary of the
Immaculate Conception Church, 1009 Stafford Ave. in Fredericksburg; and June 8
is at the Cathedral of St. Thomas More, 3901 Cathedral Lane in Arlington.
