The Marymount Farmers Market will launch its third season May 26
at Marymount University, 2807 N. Glebe Rd., Arlington, from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m.
It is a joint effort between Field to Table, Marymount, North
Arlington neighbors, nearby civic associations and the Lee Highway Alliance.
The market will be each Saturday through Nov. 17.
Free parking is available in the university’s Blue Garage off
Yorktown Boulevard and accessible parking is available in the surface lot off
Glebe Road.
All products available at the market are grown, baked, roasted,
cooked or prepared within 125 miles of Arlington County.
Field to Table is an Arlington-based nonprofit that is part of
the nationwide locavore movement that encourages people to purchase from local
farmers and food preparers.
