Dear Brothers and Sisters in Christ,
May the Risen Lord, who fills us with his love and consolation, be with you during this Sacred Season of Easter!
The same Lord who was raised from the dead in Jerusalem and inspired the great acts of heroism in the early Church seeks to inspire you, today. He offers us all that we need to evangelize our culture, to raise holy families, to comfort the afflicted and vulnerable, and to serve his glorious Church.
Reflecting on the great gifts we have been given by God — particularly in the Sacraments — may we also rejoice with those who will be received into the Catholic Church this Easter. We congratulate them, their godparents, sponsors and families, and thank them for their witness, especially as the Church invites all of us to renew our baptismal promises.
Inspired by the Holy Spirit who continues to enliven his Church, never ceasing to bestow us with his grace and love, may we be a Christian people united in the Resurrection and our Risen Lord.
Through the intercession of Our Blessed Virgin Mary and St. Joseph, her spouse, may he bless you and your families with his peace at Easter and always.
