After nearly 13 years of bringing the Gospel to Twitter, Bishop Michael F. Burbidge is “happy” to join Instagram.
In his first video message to Instagram followers March 20, he shared: “It is my hope and prayer that these daily reflections will help you to draw a little closer to the Lord, to know the joy of the Gospel, to recommit to sharing that joy with others.”
Bishop Burbidge’s Instagram posts have included highlights from Holy Week liturgies, messages of support to his fellow bishops, and graphics highlighting his daily Gospel reflection.
Nearly 25,000 people follow him on Twitter, where followers will still receive daily Gospel reflections.
