Nearly 60 teen pilgrims and volunteers completed a 33-mile, prayer-filled walk from St. John the Apostle Church in Leesburg to the Cathedral of St. Thomas More in Arlington May 27-28 to support vocations, seminarians and those preparing for the diaconate.

In addition to St. John the Apostle, participants and volunteers included parishioners from Christ the Redeemer Church in Sterling; St. Mark Church in Vienna; St. Philip Church in Falls Church; St. Rita Church in Alexandria; St. Theresa Church in Ashburn; and St. Veronica Church in Chantilly. Several new parishes joined the annual Memorial Day weekend trek this year after hearing about it from a Catholic Heald feature article last year.
