The diocesan Office of Faith Formation and Evangelization encourages all parishes to participate in the Diocesan Rosary Congress from Oct. 7, the Feast of the Holy Rosary, to Oct. 13, the Feast of Our Lady of Fatima.
While the structure of worship will vary by parish, common elements include exposition of the Blessed Sacrament during which a public rosary will be prayed.
The prayer intentions of the congress are to honor Our Lady during the second year of preparation for the Diocesan Golden Jubilee; for all Christians facing persecution throughout the world; and for all Catholics who have left the church or have grown lukewarm in practicing the faith.
