Dear Brothers and Sisters in Christ,
During this Easter Season, I reflect on how blessed we are as followers of Christ to live in a diocese that has been given abundant blessings. Our Risen Lord invites us to take those blessings and walk in newness of life as his sons and daughters, each and every day.
As we celebrate our 50th anniversary as a diocese, we are renewed in the joyful hope of witnessing and celebrating our Lord’s resurrection. Now strengthened in this hope-filled faith, we can better respond to his call to witness to the Risen Lord with greater authenticity, to follow his commands, and willingly proclaim our faith and the truth of the Gospel boldly and lovingly.
By relying on God and trusting in his grace, may we strive daily to live in Christ Jesus, who rose from the dead, bringing a message of new life in him. Jesus Christ is risen today; he is victorious, and his victory is ours. For this reason, we sing ‘Alleluia! Alleluia!’
Please be assured of a special remembrance in my prayers for you and your family. May Our Risen Lord shower his abundant blessings upon you at Easter and always.
