  • Front Office Manager

    Provides clerical, administrative, and limited webpage administration to the Pastor and Business Manager in the Main Parish Office, Our Lady of Angels Catholic Church, Woodbridge, Virginia
    Full time position with benefits (health care, retirement, vacation and sick leave)
    Bilingual English and Spanish required

    Serves as a receptionist and first point of contact for every phone call or guest to Parish office - must enjoy working with people, answer inquiries, and possess strong interpersonal and communication skills. Assists Business Manager in updating various documents to include Mass intentions, sacramental records, donations, scheduling of facilities, upcoming religious educational events, and other Parish operations. Provides administrative support for Parish information disseminated through weekly bulletin, website, promotional materials, or via emails. Can provide limited webpage administration. Manages Parishioner database and assists in reporting requirements to the Diocese. Recognizes the importance of confidentiality of all Parish conversations and documents. Must be able to adapt to competing demands, changes in the work environment and meet deadlines. Performs miscellaneous duties as needed in support of the Parish front office.

    Education: High school degree required. Associates or more advanced degree in general business administration, accounting, or related field preferred
    Catholic in good standing and must be VIRTUS qualified or be able to meet the Diocesan Policies for the protection of children
    Excellent administrative, clerical, and organizational skills. Detailed - oriented.
    Demonstrated successful experience in previous office administration and limited bookkeeping responsibilities a plus.

    Proficient in computer skills to include MS Office to include Word and Excel and Adobe; Some experience with webpage administration or WordPress.
