Diocesan high schools celebrated graduations in person this year after the majority of social distancing requirements, capacity limitations and other restrictions were phased out across the commonwealth and within the diocese.

Four high schools held commencement ceremonies on their school campuses: Bishop Ireton High School in Alexandria (May 27), Bishop O’Connell High School in Arlington (June 3), Saint John Paul the Great Catholic High School in Potomac Shores (May 28) and St. Paul VI High School in Chantilly (June 6). Seton School in Manassas marked the end of festivities with a baccalaureate Mass and graduation at Holy Trinity Church in Gainesville (June 7).
