Hoping to inspire the leadership of families, inspireWord
Virginia is offering the conference “Growing and Strengthening Our
Relationships with God and Each Other” at Holy Trinity Church in
Gainesville Sept. 28.
The event is open to singles, married and dating and will include
keynote addresses and a social hour. InspireWord started in January 2019 in
Arlington and this is the first conference, with 10 cities slated for 2020.
Speakers will include Teresa Tomeo, author, syndicated Catholic
talk show host and motivational speaker, on the topic of relationships, married
life, growing with your significant other, God and more; Ray Guarendi, a
clinical psychologist, talk show host and father of 10, on parenting; and
Father Thomas G. Morrow, an author on chaste courtship, on the single life,
discerning vocations, recognizing God’s will and advice on how to properly seek
for that special someone God made for all of us.
“The inspiration behind inspireWord came from myself and staff
recognizing that the traditional family model has been under attack today,”
said Joe Condit, founder. “We can’t do enough to celebrate families and give
credence and support to the battles we all fight today to be Catholics and
Christians.”
Condit, an entrepreneur and founder of CatholicSpeakers.com, a network
for Catholic speakers, said the inspiration behind the event was to strengthen parents.
“It gives the family leaders, the mother and father, the
opportunity to have a date with each other,” he said. “What better way to bond
with each other and grow as leaders of the family than to go to something like
this where you have the opportunity to share and hear great messages from the
speakers.”
