Nearly 20 young volunteers reenacted a live Nativity scene for
drivers-by at Precious Blood Church in Culpeper Dec. 20, braving the night air
to portray Mary, Joseph, an angel, shepherds and the three Wise Men.
Farm animals including a cow and sheep completed the scene,
contentedly munching on hay during the two-hour event.
Some 150 cars passed through during the inaugural event,
organized by Kelly Bennett, coordinator of youth ministry and adult evangelization.
