Marian Homes, a project of Fairfax Knights of Columbus, celebrated the opening of its seventh home for people with intellectual disabilities July 11. The new Mother of Good Counsel House in Fairfax will soon be home to five women. Multiple companies and organizations donated more than $100,000 in labor and materials to renovate the home for the residents.

Bishop Michael F. Burbidge blessed the home and cut the ribbon at a socially distanced ceremony.
