January pro-life events

First slide

The annual pro-life events held each January, culminating in the March for Life in Washington, will look different this year because of the pandemic.

The march will proceed with precautions in place for COVID-19 and masks required for participants.

Many of the other major events will still be held but on a smaller scale with social distancing guidelines in place, or online.

Here are upcoming pro-life events.

Life is VERY Good, Jan. 28, 7:30 p.m.

In the past, this event hosted thousands of participants from across the country in an arena, but this year will pivot to a holy hour with Bishop Michael F. Burbidge at the Cathedral of St. Thomas More, 3901 Cathedral Lane, Arlington, and livestreamed. Pre-registration is required for in-person attendance, bit.ly/LIVGarlington21.

Ennie Hickman will offer the keynote address and Steve Angrisano will provide music.

The event will kick off at the basilica with a livestreamed rosary and Mass, followed by holy hours led by different U.S. bishops.  A closing Mass the next morning will be open in person to the first 250 people to register.
