Catholic school info sessions for prospective teachers

The Office of Catholic Schools will sponsor information sessions for prospective teachers at three locations in November. Nov. 13 at St. Thomas More Cathedral School, 105 N. Thomas St., Arlington, 7-8:45 p.m.; Nov. 14 at All Saints School, 9294 Stonewall Rd., Manassas, 1-3 p.m.; and Nov. 16 at St. Francis of Assisi School, 18825 Fuller Heights Rd., Triangle, 1-3 p.m.


On hand to answer questions will be: Sister of the Immaculate Heart of Mary Patricia Helene, head of the Marymount University Catholic School Leadership Program; Sister of St. Joseph Karl Ann Homberg, assistant superintendent; and Janet Vetrano, Office of Catholic Schools licensure specialist.

The Arlington Diocese has 44 schools offering instructional programs for all ages from pre-school through high school. Those interested in attending should contact Vetrano at j.vetrano@arlingtondiocese.org by Nov. 6 to register.
