Service of Lessons and Carols at the Cathedral of St. Thomas More

There will be two opportunities to experience the Service of Lessons
and Carols, an evening of Advent music and Scripture readings that originated
at Kings College Chapel in Cambridge, England.

It will be celebrated Dec. 4 at the Cathedral of St. Thomas More,
3901 Cathedral Lane, Arlington, at 7:30 p.m. and will include music by the
combined Cathedral choirs. It will also be celebrated Dec. 11 at St. Raymond of
Peñafort Church, 8750 Pohick Rd., Springfield, at 7 p.m. The snow date is Dec.
18. A reception will follow in the parish hall.
