    Here at the Catholic Herald, we’ve noticed that our collective physical isolation has led to a lot of creativity, often showcased online. Throughout this pandemic, we’ve been bringing you fun and uplifting videos, photos and posts from people throughout the diocese. 

     

    Good Shepherd Church in Alexandria let its light shine by posting a lovely photo of the sun streaming through its stained glass windows and onto Father Thomas P. Ferguson, pastor. 

     

     

     

    St. Joseph School in Herndon couldn’t let the school year end without a crazy hair day. Check out those stylish hairdos.

     

    St. Paul VI Catholic High School in Fairfax posted a video of science teacher and U.S. Naval Academy graduate Deacon Tom Grodek presenting senior Sarah Gurley with her appointment to the Naval Academy. Thank you for your service, Panthers!

     

    Production Coordinator Stacy Rausch loved seeing a beautiful sidewalk mural in Arlington honoring janitors. According to ArlNow, the artwork was commissioned by BallstonGives and created by artist Patrick Owens.
