The Catholic Herald’s Managing Editor Ann Augherton sits down with two entertainment media greats to discuss the 2026 Oscar nominees, the standouts and the duds.

Sister Rose Pacatte, a Daughter of St. Paul stationed in Rome, is a film critic and media literacy educator; and New York-based John Mulderig is a media reviewer for OSV News.

The Oscars, to be presented at the Dolby Theatre in Los Angeles, will be televised live on ABC and streamed live on Hulu.
