At the advice of their pediatrician, Billy Borman and Morgan Pino left New York City in March with their newborn baby, Beatrice Anne, to stay with Billy’s parents in Sterling. Beatrice was baptized by Father Paul D. Scalia at St. James Church in Falls Church April 18 in front of her parents, godfather and uncle Luke Borman, aunt and proxy godmother Brittany Borman and grandparents Emily and Bill Borman. Morgan’s mother, Molly Naples, watched the baptism by video call from New York.

“With so many other things suddenly uncertain in our life, and with most sacraments in the New York Archdiocese canceled, we felt blessed to come to the Arlington Diocese and to have such easy access to the sacrament of baptism for our newborn daughter,” said Billy.
