El Salvador, which means “the Savior,” is named after Divino
Salvador del Mundo. His feast is a national holiday. Many
Masses are celebrated throughout the day. The devotion has
carried over to All Saints Church, with an annual procession.

“It’s the image of the Risen Lord commemorating the salvific
promise of Our Lord to all nations,” said Father Juan Puigbo,
parochial vicar.
