Every Friday afternoon during Lent, the students and faculty
of Angelus Academy in Springfield come together for Stations
of the Cross. Gathering in the chapel with their own copies
of “Way of the Cross,” the students read, kneel and recite
together the responses while Principal Joseph Ammirati leads
them through each station.

“It is good for the kids to learn that Christ fell and got up
again,” said Ammirati. “It is a beautiful thing they get.”
