Composer and performer Jaime Cortez will present a concert in
English and Spanish at Precious Blood Church, 114 E.
Edmondson St., Culpeper, Oct. 15, from 6 to 7 p.m. A workshop
for Hispanic music ministers will follow from 7:30 to 9:30
p.m.
Cortez is music director of Holy Cross Church in Mesa, Ariz.
Born in New York and raised in El Savador, he has dedicated
part of his ministry to promoting more meaningful Hispanic
liturgies and bringing cultures together for worship.
