For the first time in 7 years, St. William of York Church in
Stafford is hosting a Vacation Bible School to the delight of
both parents and campers. VBS coordinators Catherine Roets
and Julia Pittman are using the Cathletics program this year,
which corresponds with this year’s summer Olympic games in
Rio. The students have fun learning about the saints,
virtues, beatitudes and other catholic fundamentals while
also exercising their bodies through fun activities and
crafts.
“It keeps them engaged with their faith,” said Julia Pittman.
“It is a fun way for them to get with other kids in the
parish their age and learn about their faith.”
